Who in the world am I? Ah, that's the great puzzle.
Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
I am a Brazilian astrophysicist, amateur sci-fi writer, and data scientist. I love to solve problems in a general sense. You will find Astronomers, physicists, statisticians, computer scientists, philosophers, musicians, biologists, medical doctors, and social scientists among my collaborators.
I enjoy poetry, classical books, movies, table tennis, and sports. Originally from Brazil, I have worked in many countries, including Japan, Germany, South Korea, Hungary, the USA, and China. This experience gave me a better understanding of the value of diversity.
In 2014, I founded the Cosmostatistics Initiative, where we transform data into scientific discoveries via cutting-edge statistical models. Our most valuable asset is the community around it, a judgemental free environment where interdisciplinarity and diversity are our strengths.
